ABOUT

I am a recent graduate of the University of Oregon with a BS in Human Physiology and Psychology. I loved to travel and experience other cultures first hand and I have worked with various HIV/AIDS programs since high school, so Peace Corps is an excellent fit for my post-grad life.

My Peace Corps journey began in April of 2012 and for 26 months I am working as an Community Capacity Building Volunteer in Botswana. Botswana has the second highest rate of HIV/AIDS in the world, so much of my post will revolve around HIV prevention and education.

So Where is Botswana?
Botswana is a landlocked country in southern Africa. I'm living in a small village in the Okavango Delta, in the north west section of the country.
